FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your maps really hand-drawn?

Yes. Every piece begins as an original hand-drawn work. I research the geography, historical context, and key figures before composing each map by hand. Oftentimes, I try to recreate maps based on how they were made at the time of the event being mapped. These are not AI-generated or template-based designs.

What makes your maps different from other prints online?

There are a lot of great maps out there. These are unique in that they are completely original that combines historical events with artistic freedom. Each map combines researched geography with narrative illustration — including historical figures, shifting borders, migration and battle routes, and contextual detail. They’re designed to immerse you in a specific era or place, not simply outline the geography.

What sizes are available?

Available sizes are listed on each product page. Please review dimensions carefully before ordering to ensure the piece fits your intended space.

If you’re unsure which size works best, feel free to reach out before purchasing.

Are the prints archival quality?

Yes. Prints are produced using high-quality materials designed for clarity, longevity, and display. With proper framing and care, they are intended to last for years without significant fading.

Do you offer framing?

At this time, prints are sold unframed unless otherwise specified. This allows you to choose a frame that best fits your space and style.

Do you accept custom commissions?

Yes. I accept a limited number of commissioned pieces. Commission inquiries can be submitted through the contact page. Details such as scope, timeline, and pricing will be discussed before any work begins.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted only if your item arrives damaged. If that happens, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number, and a replacement will be arranged.

How long does shipping take?

Processing times and estimated shipping timelines are listed on the product page. Shipping speeds may vary depending on location and carrier.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes but not all countries or regions. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their country.

Can I use your artwork for commercial purposes?

No. All artwork is protected by copyright. Purchasing a print does not grant reproduction or commercial usage rights. All inquiries for commercial uses must be agreed upon by the business.

  • Frame behind glass or acrylic

  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight

  • Keep in a dry, climate-controlled environment
